Val di Sole is located to the north-west of Trentino and is
surrounded by famous mountain ranges: the Brenta Dolomites, the Adamello-Presanella massif and the
Ortles-Cevedale and Maddalene chains.
More than a third of the territory consists of protected natural areas.
The northern area belongs to the historic Stelvio National Park and the southern
area to the vast Adamello-Brenta Nature Park.
Val di Sole offers a "full immersion nature holiday" with an endless

Hiking and trekking
Val di Pejo is full of hiking and mountaineering trails with landscapes and mountains that reach as high as 3700 m. It is surrounded by the Ortles-Cevedale mountain range which includes the highest mountains and glaciers in Trentino. The territory is immersed in Stelvio National Park.

Extreme sports in Val di Sole
RAFTING
Along the 28 navigable
kilometres of the Noce River you can choose between the adrenaline rush of the rapids and
the equally intense fun of the slightly calmer stretches.
All of which in the company of the experienced, professional and fun-loving guides. Anyone
can go Rafting! No special skills are needed, just a determination to have lots of fun.
HORSE RIDING
Horse riding is part of
summer and the Val di Peio gives you the chance to spend unforgettable moments in the saddle
of these fantastic animals.
Imagine galloping through beautiful green woods and flowering meadows, with a cool breeze
caressing your face... Total freedom!
TARZANING
Tarzaning, as the word itself suggests, is an activity practiced along an aerial route consisting of Tibetan bridges, cableways and passages through exciting natural elements like canyons. It is an activity suitable for all ages.
ROPES COURSE AND ADVENTURE PLAYGROUNDS
The ropes course is an activity that engenders a sense of complete freedom. It consists of rope courses and suspended wooden bridges that require balance and concentration to be crossed.
INDOOR CLIMBING
It is possible to practice indoor sport climbing in the Pala Climb in Mazzana, a new structure opened in January 2009. The Pala Climb is located in Marilleva 900. The wall is 15 metres high and 20 metres wide and has 10 stops.
FREE CLIMBING
Free climbing, or sport climbing, is a highly skilful sport characterised by both physical exertion and an important psychological component. It is an extreme sport that tests your strength to the full.
CANYONING
Canyoning is a sport that applies mountaineering techniques - including the use of ropes and carabiners - to the descent by foot along streams and gorges carved into the rock.
DOWNHILL MOUNTAIN BIKING
Perhaps the most high-octane mountain biking discipline with full-speed descents on roads and dirt tracks in the woods.

The pleasure of cycling in Val di Sole
Passing through woods along dirt tracks, close to the orchards and the snow, travelling along the Noce River on the Val di Sole cycle path in complete silence: a new way to immerse yourselves in nature, enjoying it and feeling its transformative effect rather than dominating it. In Val di Sole you can also practice the most high-octane mountain bike discipline: downhill mountain biking. This type of excursion involves the presence of MTB instructors and guides from the various schools in the valley and includes the transportation of participants and their bicycles up into the mountains. MTB AND CYCLE TOURS
The Val di Sole is the perfect place for cycling and MTB enthusiasts and cycle tour lovers!
Passing through woods along dirt tracks, close to the orchards and the snow, travelling along the Noce River on the Val di Sole cycle path in complete silence: a new way to immerse yourselves in nature, enjoying it and feeling its transformative effect rather than dominating it.

The 35 km Val di Sole Cycle Path follows the Noce River and skirts the villages of the Val di Sole. With its altitude difference of about 700 metres, from Mostizzolo it will take you "home" to our hotel in Cogolo di Pejo, at the entrance to the Stelvio National Park.
Completely paved and appropriate for both racing bikes and MTBs, the path is suitable for everyone, for those that want to train but also for families with children.
As well as the CYCLE path, there are also lots of MTB trails around the hotel, some of which extremely challenging.
MTB and E-BIKE HIRE in VAL di SOLE
There are various MTB hire shops in Val di Sole. The nearest is PROMESCAIOL, which is 500 METRES FROM THE HOTEL. If you want to pedal without too much effort, we suggest renting an E-BIKE.
